A place to discuss “alt bricks”… blocks and kits from manufacturers other than the big “L”. It’s not that we have anything against Lego®, but there are plenty of other great places on the Internet to do that. We prefer to focus on the secondary players, who in many cases, bring other things to the hobby.
Why Eclectic?
For most Alt Bricks enthusiasts, some of the BEST resources on the Internet are found on Reddit. While Reddit’s design is great for dynamic content and discussions, it is not so good at handling structured “static” data. That is the gap we fill.
Think of it this way – if Reddit is a giant warehouse filled with thousands books randomly stacked as they come in, then Eclectic is small library containing just a fraction of the books, but they are a lot easier to find.
An “Alt Bricks” Primer
