BlueBrixx

BlueBrixx is a German company Germany that designs and produces its own self-branded kits, as well as licensed designs. It also resells kits from other alt-brick producers, both online and through its own brick and mortar stores located throughout Germany.

BlueBrixx does not manufacturer their own bricks. As of Nov, 2025, they source their bricks primarily from XingBao and GoBricks (both located in China).

Bluebrixx’s licensed products include:

  • Stargate
  • Robocop
  • Snoopy
  • Peanuts
  • The Three Investigators… called “Die drei ???” in German, it’s a US series of books similar to the Hardy Boys.
  • Brabus… an automotive company that produces custom aftermarket upgraded vehicles.
  • Das Schwarze Auge… the German equivalent to Dungeons and Dragons.
  • The German Maritime Search and Rescue Service

Also, from October, 2021 through December, 2024 it also held the license to design and produce kits from the science fiction classic, Star Trek. During that time, it produced over 100 different sets, mostly starships in various scales. Lego acquired the Star Trek license in 2025.

If you are checking out BlueBrixx, here are some of the more interesting things you should know:

  • They produce what may be the largest building set of ANY manufacturer. It’s a modular recreation of Lower Manhattan. It covers a space that is nearly 4′ x 4′ in size, and consists of 21515 pieces!
  • BlueBrixx produces some quite a few brick replicas of famous European castles, including the famous Neuschwanstein.
  • If you are a science fiction fan, then BlueBrixx is a great source for licensed and unlicensed kits from franchises like Stargate, Robocop, Aliens, Battlestar Galactica, Bladerunner, The Fifth Element, Doctor Who, Spaceballs and Space 1999.
  • For Freebuilders, BlueBrixx produces a wide variety of “Parts Packs” that contain a lot of commonly used pieces at very reasonable prices.

  1. Not detailed here is one MAJOR negative of dealing with BlueBrixx. Their customer service is non-existent! While they seem to be okay with sending you a missing piece, expect any other issue to take months to resolve (if ever). I have experienced this personally and read multiple stories of similar issues – it was not an isolated issue.
