Summary
This layout actually appears three times – each using a different surface. Trying that produces some interesting results:
- Plywood (48″ x 96″)………Easiest surface to obtain, but it takes 49 short straight pieces. That’s a LOT!
- MDF (49″ x 97″)…………….Hard surface to obtain but you only need 18 short straights.
- Ping Pong (60″ x 108″)….The extra room lets you add about 27 extra feet of track over the first two.
Note – I actually built and raced this layout. It runs nicely!
