The Story
If you are going to run a theme park and resort, you need power. If you are are going to have a monorail servicing it, you need even more power! This is where it all comes from. It also home to the switching station that allows inbound and outbound monorail service.
Build Notes
Once I decided to add the theme park to the hotel, I ended up with a 32×16 space in the corner with nothing in it. I started by building the monorail track switch segment (which actually moves), and had some spare parts that kinda looked mechanical, so the power station was an easy decision and build.
Final Thoughts
The hardest part of this building was finding the right combination of track lengths that would allow me to build a reasonable looking switch area. In the future, I may come back with Technic and put that on gears. I am also considering changing the grey plates under everything to a medium brown that looks more like dirt. What do you think?
